Raisa Cole
Raisa Cole’s work embodies the principles of intersectional environmental feminism, recognising the interconnectedness of social justice, racial and gender equity, and environmental sustainability. As the Organisational Development Manager at Democracy Works Foundation, where she also leads the organisation’s Climate Governance Programme, she works to amplify the voices and ingenuity of those at the forefront of the climate crises. She is currently pursuing a PhD in environmental governance at the Wageningen University and Research. She refers to herself as a scholar activist who uses participatory and community-centred research approaches to inform more inclusive and responsive decision making.
