Rob is a Senior Advisor to Centre for Nature and Climate at the World Economic Forum. In that capacity he works on a range of initiatives on industry decarbonization, climate action, climate litigation and philanthropic engagement for climate and nature. He dedicates most of his time the new Giving to Amplify Earth Action (GAEA) initiative at the Forum.
Before joining the Forum, Rob led a variety of international programs and projects related to global security, sustainable development, and climate and energy. Rob holds an LL.M. (with Distinction) in Public International Law and an LL.B. in International and European Law. From 2014 to 2016, he served as Associate Member on the Legal Team for the Marshall Islands in their cases against on nuclear disarmament obligations in the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
Rob has dedicated his professional life to advancing policy-action on issues where justice, global security and the rule of law intersect—from strengthening and implementing arms control regimes to securing sustainable development and environmental protection through climate action and a just energy transition. He has organized and spoken at various international conferences and multilateral proceedings, as well as roundtable discussions, legal seminars, and parliamentary events, and has written extensively on a range of issues related to global security, sustainable development, climate and energy. He lives in the United Kingdom.
