In a joint statement, foundations and philanthropic organisations from the 2024 G7 and G20 TROIKA countries are urging their governments to take acute and meaningful action on renewable energy, sustainable industrial decarbonisation, and climate finance. As philanthropic organisations committed to advancing the sustainable development goals (SDGs) and climate resilience, urge the governments of Brazil, Canada, India, Italy, Japan and South Africa to seize this critical moment at the start of the year 2025 to lead a transformative process towards climate resilient and sustainable growth, and a just transition that leaves no one behind.
